Weavers Project

The first weaving project which was established in June 2013 in Takeo, Cambodia with the support from 30 friends and it reached sustainability by Dec 2013, well ahead of the initial forecasted period. The weaving village now produces over 500 cotton scarves each month, most of which are sold to international tourists who visit the project.
This project has also been the inspiration for other projects by providing true evidence that “small is beautiful” and is scalable through a multiplier effect. The profit from the sale of products from this project has raised seed capital for 5 subsequent projects.
The overall impact of the Weavers Project has reached over 100 families in 6 years.
